On Friday, October 4, 2024, Robert Bosch and the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Curitiba campus (UTFPR-CT), signed an agreement and a work plan that provides financial support for a project on Tribological Studies of Injection System Components for Renewable Fuels, developed by the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering and Materials (PPGEM-CT).
It is important to highlight the participation of Professor Giuseppe Pintaúde from UTFPR, a management member of INCT-TRIB, who has played a key role in driving this initiative. The project, which has been in planning since 2022 with Bosch's support for the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT), will last three years. The funding will meet the counterpart requirement set by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) through the Academic Master’s and Doctorate Program for Innovation (MAI/DAI).
The research will involve the collaboration of a doctoral student, a master's student, and undergraduate research students, who will be selected in the coming months.
More details can be found on the UTFPR website.
